Melting table

“Melting table” is a table imagined by designer Sophia Taillet.Fascinated by the flexibility of molten glass, she appropriates glass shaping techniques to reveal states of matter. Composed of a curved sheet of glass, it gradually bends and rests on the floor, creating a visual continuity between surface and support. Between curved lines and transparent glass, this object transports us with its visual lightness and almost evanescent appearance.
